The Global Digital Economy Conference (GDEC) 2024 is set to take place at the China National Convention Center in Beijing from July 2 to 5, 2024. The event was announced at a news conference on June 21, hosted by the Beijing Municipal People's Government and the Cyberspace Administration of China.

Themed "Opening Up a New Era of Digital Intelligence, Sharing a New Digital Future," GDEC 2024 aims to expand global cooperation in the digital economy. International Cooperation: Building a solid international cooperation platform to expand global partnerships in the digital economy. Following the success of the Global Digital Economy Partner City Cooperation Initiative, new partner cities will join this year.

Collaborative Development: Bridging the digital divide by enhancing services and expanding capacity, with forums such as "Face-to-Face Dialogue on Digital Economy between East and West China" and the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Think Tank Forum.
