Home Furnishing Expo Shenzhen (HOMETEX) is a renowned event for home textiles and home decoration in China. Organized by the Textile & Garment Chamber of Commerce of All-China Association of Industry & Commerce and China Guangdong Home Textile and Home Furnishing Association, HOMETEX was established in Foshan in 1997 and relocated to Shenzhen in 2007. Over 27 years, it has grown to occupy an annual exhibition area of 260,000 square meters and attracts over 350,000 visitors, making it China’s leading soft furnishing exhibition and a trend-setting platform for the home decoration industry.
Why Attend HOMETEX?
“Shenzhen leads the high-end soft furnishing industry” – this has been the praise for HOMETEX for many years. It serves as the first launch platform for China’s annual home fashion trends. Adhering to a design-driven approach, the Expo has long been championing high-end, original brands. Through a combination of online and offline brand promotion, design exchange activities, and industry forums, it has earned the reputation of being the “best-looking” exhibition in the country, firmly establishing its position as the bellwether of soft furnishing trends. Design-oriented buyers, independent designers, and design studios are increasingly attending each year.
Exhibits Scope:
In recent years, mature fabric themes, high-end wall material brands, overall soft furnishing brands, intelligent window decoration, and sun-shading brands have accounted for nearly half of the exposition, showcasing great glamour after years of development.
International Influence:
HOMETEX is also a benchmark exposition with the most international elements in mainland China. In 2017, the joint venture of this Expo was completed with Tarsus Group, and in 2024, it joined Informa Markets, the largest exhibition group in the world. Under the support of Informa Markets, the Expo has further integrated rich resources at home and abroad, embarking on a new journey of international cooperation in China’s home soft furnishing industry. This integration allows China to see global trends and the world to see China’s soft furnishings.
