This year, more than 700 exhibitors from 15 countries are showcasing a range of luxury watches, accessories, and components. New exhibitors from Belgium, Denmark, and returning participants from South Korea highlight the diversity of the fair.
Salon de TIME, open to the public for the first time, features more than 130 renowned brands like Baume & Mercier and Bovet. In addition to on-site sales, visitors can experience themed zones such as World Brand Piazza, Renaissance Moment, and Wearable Tech. The event aims to spotlight innovation with tech-savvy designs and high-end craftsmanship.

Innovation and Design Take Center Stage
This year’s fair emphasizes distinctive designs and cutting-edge technology. The demand for personalized and innovative watches is on the rise, leading exhibitors to showcase unique pieces that stand out. For example, Italian brand Police is exhibiting industrial-themed designs, while American brand SAGA is launching a Space series inspired by China’s lunar exploration project. Additionally, international brands like Kenneth Cole and Timberland are expanding their presence.

Leveraging Sustainable and Health-Driven Trends
A growing number of exhibitors are highlighting sustainability in their products. Thirty exhibitors are showcasing eco-friendly materials and designs, including Gordon C. & Company Limited, which uses natural fibers for watch straps. German brand Lilienthal Berlin presents a watch made from recycled coffee grounds, aligning with global sustainability trends.
Health-focused innovations are also making an impact, with smartwatches gaining traction in the Wearable Tech zone. These smart devices are equipped with health monitoring features such as heart rate and blood oxygen tracking. Brands like OSKRON and S52 are pioneering this movement, offering devices that cater to health-conscious consumers.

Exciting Activities and Forums for Public Engagement
This year’s Salon de TIME offers a range of public activities, including product launches and watch parades. Renowned industry figures, including local metal engraving artist Carlos Koo, will conduct demonstrations. Visitors also have the chance to win luxury watches in lucky draws or bid for premium brands in Smart Bidding sessions.
Industry professionals can engage in forums and seminars focused on market trends, such as the annual Asian Watch Conference, with experts discussing emerging trends in smart wearables and fashion watches.

Design Competition Celebrates Creative Talent
The 41st Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition has announced its winners, celebrating creativity and innovation in both professional and student categories. Wong Ting Bong’s car-themed watch, Vertical 6.0, won the Open Group, while Lau Cheuk Lai’s jewelry-inspired Liminality won the Student Group. All winning pieces are on display at the event.

Hybrid Fair Model Extends Global Reach
Running in conjunction with the physical event, the online exhibition extends until September 14. The hybrid model allows buyers to continue engaging with exhibitors worldwide, facilitated by HKTDC’s Click2Match platform.
