Over 100 representatives from enterprises, industry associations, and e-commerce platforms attended. During the event, Changsha County officially launched its export base for second-hand vehicles. The base aims to export 10,000 vehicles within three years, with foreign trade exceeding 2 billion yuan. This initiative will provide comprehensive export services including procurement, customs clearance, and international logistics.
An incubation center for digitally exporting vehicles and auto parts was also introduced, alongside the signing of several cooperation agreements. The center aims to boost the county’s auto industry by creating cross-border e-commerce parks. Additionally, the event featured discussions on addressing challenges in logistics, finance, and talent recruitment.
Changsha County has seen significant growth in its cross-border e-commerce sector, with a 21.4% year-on-year increase in trade volume by the end of 2023. The county plans to leverage its resources for further cluster development and enhance its global trade network, accelerating innovative cross-border e-commerce strategies.
