This autumn, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host four major technology fairs, spotlighting the latest advancements in electronics, lighting, and tech innovations. The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia will take place from October 13-16, 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). Meanwhile, the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Autumn Edition) will run from October 27-30, 2024, at the HKCEC, and the Hong Kong International Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will be held from October 29 to November 1, 2024, at AsiaWorld-Expo.

These events will feature 6,200 exhibitors from 29 countries and regions, offering innovative products, solutions, and services across various industries. The fairs serve as critical platforms for fostering industry exchanges and driving the development of smart cities globally.
According to Jenny Koo, Assistant Executive Director of the HKTDC, these exhibitions will leverage in-person and online formats to connect buyers and exhibitors worldwide. The Click2Match smart matching platform will ensure seamless online interactions, helping businesses promote their technologies and enabling buyers to source new solutions effectively.
Autumn Electronics Fair: Focused on Innovation
The 44th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) will bring together 3,200 exhibitors from 19 countries, showcasing the latest tech in consumer electronics, smart products, and home appliances. The fair will also feature over 500 renowned brands in the Hall of Fame, including TOSHIBA (Japan), CG Mobile (France), RENPHO (US), and RoadRover Technology (Mainland China).
Key areas of focus include digital entertainment, smart mobility, and the silver economy, addressing trends in gaming technology, electric vehicles (EVs), and products tailored for seniors. Visitors can experience immersive VR and AR technologies and explore cutting-edge solutions like electric vehicle retrofitting and C-V2X technologies for autonomous driving.
The accompanying electronicAsia fair will showcase electronic components, printed circuit boards, and manufacturing services, ensuring a comprehensive overview of the electronics industry.
Lighting Fairs: Highlighting Smart and Sustainable Solutions
The Autumn Lighting Fair and the Outdoor and Tech Light Expo will feature 3,000 exhibitors from over 20 countries, presenting innovative products that integrate lighting with life. The Hall of Connected Lighting will showcase advanced smart lighting solutions, featuring global brands like JDI (Japan) and Signify (Netherlands).
The Outdoor and Tech Light Expo introduces a Smart Pole & Solution Zone, showcasing energy-efficient products and smart lighting technologies for urban environments. The event will also cover horticultural, public, and professional lighting solutions, emphasizing sustainable development.
Engaging Forums and Networking Opportunities
All four fairs will feature a range of forums and seminars, including the Symposium on Innovation & Technology, focusing on digital twins and real-life applications, and the Connected Lighting Forum, which will explore smart lighting applications. These events will allow industry leaders to share insights, discuss market trends, and explore collaboration opportunities.
Under HKTDC’s EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, online platforms will complement the physical events, with online exhibitions running from October 6 to November 8, 2024, allowing exhibitors and buyers to connect virtually via the Click2Match platform.
