Hong Kong Electronics Fair Concludes with Over 60,000 Buyers from 136 Countries

The four-day event showcased innovative products and technology solutions, solidifying its status as a top global sourcing platform. Notably, buyer participation from countries such as Malaysia, Türkiye, Argentina, and the UAE saw significant increases, demonstrating the fairs’ growing international appeal.
Sophia Chong, Deputy Executive Director of HKTDC, stated, “The global trend towards smart living continues to drive demand for cutting-edge products and solutions. These exhibitions provide exhibitors and buyers with vital opportunities to explore new business prospects, further positioning Hong Kong as a leader in international innovation and technology.”

Optimism for Growth in Emerging Markets
A survey conducted during the fair revealed optimistic growth prospects in the electronics industry, with 53% of respondents anticipating sales growth in the next 12-24 months. Emerging markets like India, the Middle East, and Latin America were seen as holding the highest potential for expansion. Wearable technology, robotics, and e-sports equipment were highlighted as the most promising sectors for growth, particularly in North America and Europe.

Successful Outcomes for Exhibitors and Buyers
The event provided a platform for exhibitors to showcase innovations across 20 zones, including smart cities, smart mobility, and digital entertainment. First-time exhibitor, Newmen Ho of Zunosaki Limited, used the event to promote his hand rehabilitation robot, meeting potential partners from Taiwan and Korea. Renowned consumer electronics brand Momax reported impressive results, connecting with 60 buyers and forming a partnership with a company from Papua New Guinea.
Buyers also saw significant success at the fair. UK-based Brand Collective secured over $2 million in purchases, while Turkish buyer Robotistan Elektronik Tic AS expressed enthusiasm for the innovative products offered by start-ups in the fair’s Startup Zone.

Cross-Industry Opportunities and Future Events
The success of the Hong Kong Electronics Fair and electronicAsia will be followed by other major trade events, such as the Hong Kong International Lighting Fair and ECO Expo Asia.
